Okay you guys. Sometimes, like with any job, you start to get burnt out. But then you get someone like Clara, who comes to you with a new location (that's amazing, by the way), tons of laughter, and it just happens to be on a night with perfectly clear skies and sunshine. Breath of fresh air.
Clara was the most giggly, easy going person and I had so much fun at this session! I'm so glad to finally be sharing the rest of the images from her senior pictures at The Marmalade Lily in Loveland, Ohio!
And when I say I'm obsessed with this location, it means that I've already recommended it to future brides because, well, I'm dying for a chance to go back.
We had the perfect light for Clara's summer senior pictures in Cincinnati!
People often ask what's the best time of day to do pictures, and my answer is always the same: we can do them anytime, but sunrise or sunset is the best! The light becomes a little more magical, softer, and lights you up--literally--for a beautiful, and professional look.
What should I wear for my senior pictures?
Personally, I recommend wearing something that is either flowy, has some fun texture (lace, fur, crochet or knit pattern), and isn't too distracting with logos, text, or busy patterns. Small patterns tend to work better than large ones--think smaller than your hand. Choose something that first and foremost that you feel good in, comfortable in, and are excited about! I'm always happy to help you based on your style, or even pick out a few new outfits!
Another outfit tip for your senior pictures:
One nicer outfit and one more casual outfit is a common combination, but casual doesn't mean boring! Clara spiced up her casual senior picture outfit with some pink tassel earrings and a quick hairstyle change. She went for a cute scrunchy instead of a regular hair tie too--details make the look!
