Fall is such a beautiful time for senior pictures in the midwest.
Well, really anywhere. Personally, I'm a big fan of spring, but the allergies and unpredictability that comes with it isn't always fun. Fall tends to be pretty predictable when it comes to weather, how the trees will look (nothing that a little editing magic can't help), and it usually has the best lighting, too.
I loved doing Alexis's fall senior pictures at Sharon Woods, and we got super lucky with how colorful the trees were this year! Her bright orange jumpsuit, which was actually her mom's, was the PERFECT outfit choice for fall!!! I'm a big fan of jumpsuits in general because of how easy they are to throw on and look put together, but the wide legs and bold color made this outfit that much more fun to photograph, unlike my tan and black go-to choices in my own closet haha.

The fog on the pond at Sharon Woods added an extra touch of moodiness. I love waking up with the sunrise and doing senior pictures first thing in the morning to get those gorgeous sunny rays, but even on days without it, you sometimes get lucky with a little fog.

I loved her orange jumpsuit paired with the yellow trees and green plants at the edge of the pond soooo much. These colors together give me heart eyes! If you need tips or ideas on what to wear for your senior pictures, check out some other senior sessions on the blog, or the Senior Photo Series!
P.S. does Alexis have the MOST amazing blue eyes you've ever seen?!
