When I started my business a few years ago...

I wasn't really sure what to do, where to go, what tools I needed, or how to keep track of everything! But after some time in the biz and joining some awesome Facebook groups, I've found the most helpful tools and I'm sharing them all with you today.

Honeybook is an absolutely freaking game changer. If you're not familiar, it's a CRM (customer relationship management) program that helps me keep track of all my clients. Some of the great info it keeps track of includes what type of session someone is booking, how and when clients paid or need to pay, what stage they're in (inquiring, viewed contract, signed, completed, archived), and so much more. It has automated email reminders, built in scheduling, sections for private notes, and tons of templates for emails, contracts, contact forms, and more. Plus, it has an awesome bookkeeping feature to help you keep track of your income and expenses throughout the year. Wanna try it out? Get HALF OFF plus a TWO WEEK FREE TRIAL period here.

Adobe Suite

Adobe is awesome, and the photography bundle is a great place to start. Instead of wasting time learning a beginner's program, use Adobe programs to make sure you can edit photos exactly how you want to. I personally use Lightroom, Photoshop, and Bridge. I've found tons of great tutorials on YouTube, LinkedIn Learning, or Lynda.com.

Pixieset is a wonder-tool, meaning I *literally* couldn't run my photography business without it. I use it both for website hosting and photo gallery delivery, which my clients are huge fans of. Delivering photos digitally is the future, not USBs. Their galleries are beautiful, customizable, and so so easy to use. You can choose to share automated directions with your clients viewing their galleries, set up a store with customizable pricing and coupon codes (heyyyy, extra money in your pocket without doing any extra work!), and set the galleries to auto-expire and remind clients before they do. It's free until you need to upgrade, and if you sign up here, you get extra space for free!

I hope these three tools help you out!
